Privacy Policy
What this website collects, who else can see your visit, and how to ask us to delete anything we hold about you.

Who we are
TechJan is a brand operated by Rabtora (“TechJan”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers this website and the enquiries that reach us through it. Our office is at 7111 Harwin Dr, Suite #110H, Houston, Texas, United States, and you can reach us at any time at info@techjan.com.
What this website collects
You can read this entire site without telling us who you are. There are no accounts, no logins and no newsletter sign-up, so the only information you give us directly is what you choose to put in an enquiry or a job application.
Alongside that, we measure how the site is used. Our analytics tools record which pages are opened, which links are followed, roughly where in the world a visit came from, and what kind of device and browser was used. That tells us which pages are worth improving. We do not use it to work out who you are as an individual, and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Our hosting provider also keeps ordinary server logs for security and reliability, as every web host does. Those are technical records, not a marketing tool.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files a website asks your browser to keep. This site uses two kinds, and no more:
- Your display preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the page does not flash back on your next visit. It stays on your device and is never sent to us — a display setting, not an identifier.
- Analytics and measurement. Our analytics provider sets cookies to recognise a return visit and to count a session as one visit rather than several. These are what produce the usage figures described above.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not allow third parties to use this site to track you across other websites. Where we run advertising campaigns, any remarketing tags are limited to showing our own ads to people who have already visited us, and are named in the list below.
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and doing so will not stop this site working — the pages, the forms and the theme switch all function normally without them. Google also publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics on every site you visit.
When you contact us
The enquiry form on our contact page does not submit to a server of ours. It checks that the fields make sense and then opens your own email application with the details filled in, addressed to info@techjan.com. Nothing leaves your device until you press send, and when you do, it is sent from your own mail account as an ordinary email.
What we then hold is that email and whatever you chose to put in it — typically your name, your email address, your phone number and company if you gave them, the service you are interested in, and your message. Applications sent through our careers page work the same way, and additionally include whatever you attach, such as a CV or portfolio.
Why we hold it, and for how long
To reply to you, to scope and carry out work you have asked about, and to keep the records that accounting and tax rules require of us. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as the enquiry or the client relationship is live, plus the retention period the law imposes, and then delete it.
Job applications are kept on file so we can come back to you if a suitable role opens. Tell us at info@techjan.com if you would rather we deleted yours, and we will.
Third parties that see your visit
- Google Analytics. Our measurement provider. It receives the page and event data described above, along with your IP address, and processes it under Google's own privacy policy.
- Advertising platforms. When we run a campaign, the platform carrying it — such as Google, Meta or LinkedIn — may record that you reached us from one of its ads, so we can tell which campaigns work and show our own ads to people who have already visited.
- Google Fonts. Our typefaces are served by Google on every page, so your IP address and browser details reach Google's font servers as part of loading them.
- Google Maps. The map on the contact page is embedded from Google. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under its own privacy policy rather than this one.
- Our email provider. Messages you send us are handled by our email provider in the ordinary way.
The animation libraries this site uses are served from our own domain rather than a third-party CDN, so they do not expose your visit to anyone else.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers. We share it only with service providers acting on our instructions, such as the email provider above, or where the law requires us to.
Security, and what not to send by email
We protect the information we hold with appropriate technical and organisational measures. Email, however, is not a secure channel by design. Please do not send copies of identity documents, payment card details, health information or passwords by email — ask us and we will arrange a secure way to share them.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email info@techjan.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and you do not have to give a reason for a deletion request.
These rights are recognised under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also hold the rights the GDPR gives you, including the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact info@techjan.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If how we handle information changes, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
